A Puerto Rican family brand
In 1983 singer-songwriter Alberto Carrión, his sister and his mother recorded an LP of classic children's stories told with Puerto Rican flair and set to rock and roll. The line for tickets to the stage show circled the block.
In 2021 his daughter Cristina revived it as a Spanish-first animated series. ROCKOLANDIA: Las Cabritas premiered in April 2025 and passed 150 million views in its first year, winning four Emmy Awards.
